The Acura TLX offers top-notch performance thanks to a powerful engine and superb handling. The standard TLX boasts a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 206 horsepower. It is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 290 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine is optional, providing stronger acceleration. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. As for fuel economy, the standard engine provides up to 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. With the optional V6, you'll get up to 20 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. On top of this, you'll have your choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drive, which both affect fuel economy. While handling is well-balanced with the standard model, the A-Spec trim is much more agile.

The TLX also offers an impressive interior. Synthetic leather-upholstered seats accommodate up to five passengers. The driver's seat features 10-way power-adjustability, while passenger seats are four-way adjustable. Front seats are also heated and there's a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Two latch connectors are available for installing a child's car seat. A moonroof provides the cabin with a natural glow, while dual-zone climate control keeps the cabin at a comfortable temperature for everyone. The trunk provides up to 14.3 cubic feet of cargo space.

The infotainment system and driver assistance features are expertly designed with convenience in mind. The dual-screen infotainment system features Bluetooth, satellite radio, a USB port, and smartphone integration. When equipped with the Technology Package, the starting price is $36,700. Meanwhile, the A-Spec and Advance trims start at $39,400 and $45,950, respectively.
