Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the latest introduction in the Samsung cell phone line. This pen-enabled tablet-phone that is very large in size, but slightly thicker and narrower than the Note 8. While it's not available in the U.S. in black, you can find them in purple or blue. Understand that the Galaxy Note 9 is a whopper of a phone -- even larger if you put it in a case. So, unless you have very large hands, don't even think about handling it with only one hand. Like other Samsung models, the 9 comes with IP68 waterproofing, a curved 6.4-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen, Bixby voice assistant, and two storage models: 128GB and 512GB. A micro SD card can provide more storage if needed.
With a screen similar to its predecessor, the Note 9 boasts smart-looking phone displays. the screen has absolute color accuracy and has among the brightest display in the entire smartphone industry. The Note 9 has better LTE speeds than the Note 8 and all frequency bands are used by carriers in North America. The Wi-Fi hardware is top-of-the-line. It should be noted that some of the Galaxy Note 9's have a firmware problem that is easily fixed by an update.
The speakers on the Note 9 have about the same volume as the Note 8, however, the sound is richer, clearer, and deeper. The call quality on the T-Mobile network is nothing short of spectacular. The dual speakers provide an audio richness along with clear, noise-free sound. The most advanced EVC voice Codec is available in the U.S. VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling is also available. The 4000mAH battery is one of the phone's best features. The 14-hour battery life is among the best in the industry.
While the S Pen has a striking resemblance to the old one, it does have a few upgrades: a Bluetooth and new colors. A yellow pen comes with the blue phone and a purple pen comes with the purple phone. The spring-loaded pop-out pen allows you to write immediately. It's highly-accurate and ideal for any type of writing or sketching. The tip is also much finer for more precision. The pen is also equipped with a battery that charges along with the phone. If you pop the Note 9 into a dock and connect a mouse, keyboard, and monitor you'll have a desktop computer.
The Galaxy Note 9 has the same 8-megapixel camera with excellent hardware. The automatic flaw detection is ideal for detecting blinks or blurry shots. Samsung's new cooling technology keeps the phone from overheating. This is good if you are a serious gamer. If you are a business person, utilize the Galaxy Note 9's dual screen mode for presentations. The pen can also be used as a presentation clicker. Note to all old Galaxy Note users: it's time for an upgrade. Not only is the Note 9 big, full of standout features, and gorgeous, it has all of the extras that a tablet needs.
