With a sleek, sexy design and impressive stats, this is the perfect vehicle for car lovers of every variety. It is also said to be a little more affordable than its rivals, making it a more accessible and realistic option for a majority of drivers. If you are interested in purchasing an all-electric sports car, read on to learn about why the 2020 Audi E-Tron GT may be the perfect choice for you.
The Audi E-Tron GT made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, where its specs were revealed in all their magnificent glory. Boasting an outrageous (in the best way possible) 590 horsepower, the E-Tron GT's two electric motors are sure to deliver spectacular performance with strong acceleration combined with impressive range, similar to that of Tesla's if not potentially better. With Quattro all-wheel-drive, a signature trait of most Audi models, you can expect a smoother ride all-around. Audi claims that the E-Tron GT can travel from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, and 124 mph in just 12 seconds on the track. With an estimated 249-mile driving range, you could go weeks without needing to recharge, depending on your commute. And when you do actually need a recharge, the E-Tron GT can refill its battery at 80 percent capacity in just 20 minutes thanks to an 800-volt electric charging system.
The Audi E-Tron GT also features a luxury interior that caters to just about everyone, particularly those interested in reducing their carbon footprint. Interior materials are completely vegan, and fabrics made from recycled fibers whenever possible. The deep-pile floor carpet, for instance, is made of Econyl yarn, a material recycled from fishing nets. These materials are highly durable and environmentally conscious, so you get the best of both worlds. With a fully electronic dashboard, you can say goodbye to the meters of the past and hello to the digital future. Seating is available for up to four passengers and there are charging ports on both the driver and passenger sides. It's also worth noting that, thanks to the lack of an engine, the vehicle will provide up to 15.9 cubic feet of luggage space, as you would find in a large sedan, plus an additionally 3.5cubic feet in the front trunk.
Currently, the 2020 Audi E-Tron GT coupe is estimated to be available for $75,795. This is comparable to the SUV available for $74,800. While not much else is known in terms of available features and trims, you can look forward to more information in the coming months.
